For those of you who didn’t know, Rob and I took a trip to Boston just this past Saturday! Our four-year anniversary was on Sunday, so we wanted to do something special. I had such a fun time, and may or may not have contemplated transferring to a college in Boston like one million thousand times during our time spent there.
Here’s a little weekend recap of what we did!
-Rob took me to dinner at this restaurant, and the food was SO delicious. I don’t have a picture of it, but I got Pepperoncini Pasta with Bolognese sauce. Here is a picture of Rob’s steak that he ordered:
-It’s official; I am in love with this little coffee shop. The prices were so cheap and the food was AMAZING. I got a Belgium waffle and Rob got a cappuccino and an egg sandwich. The vibe of this little café was so calming and cute.
-UGH, so good. This place was pretty crowded so we ended up actually eating outside rather than inside. We came here for a quick snack during the day. Rob got a lemon meringue pie and I got a grilled cheese.
THE FUN STUFF:
-We spent most of our day walking around the Boston Gardens. These were so so so beautiful. My favorite part had to be the beautiful color of all of the leaves.
-I have always heard so many amazing things about the Quincy Market but hadn’t actually been there up until last weekend. It was crazy! It’s basically a ton of food vendors lined up to (what seems like) no end. I got a smoothie and Rob got a corndog. Polar opposites, but both were super tasty!
-We also spent a ton of time on Newbury Street. Not gonna’ lie, I came extremely close to buying every single item that Free People and Anthropologie had for sale. Here were my favorite things from those two stores:
We had such a fun day! I can’t believe that we officially have been going out four years (four years and a day to be exact). I’m so thankful for my amazing dude and cant wait to return to Boston!
Have any of you ever been to Boston? What was your favorite part?
