You know that feeling when you’ve been running for quite a long time and you begin to have a few hallucinations?
Maybe get dizzy, or start dreaming of all the foods that you could be eating or the couches that you could be napping on rather than running in the first place?
Ever think about a dog racing along side of you? Or a dog placing 7th in the marathon that you had been training months and months for?
In the Trackless Train Trek Half Marathon in Alabama, a dog did all of this. The hound dog got out of his home and began to follow runners that were participating in the marathon. The dog ended up placing 7th with a time of 1:32.56.
The adorable marathon star had been let out to go to the bathroom and ended up sneaking away when seeing other marathon participants.
If this doesn’t make your day, I don’t know what will.
