The Wonder Of Coffee

For Christmas this past year an extremely magical item made its way into the Negron family household- you guessed it, a Keurig. Let me tell you, this thing truly does wonders. If you’re not entirely sure about what this so called “Keurig” thing is, it’s simply a machine that brews single-serve coffee pods (K-cups). And the best part about it is that it’s completely effortless, you plop the little cup in click a few buttons and next thing you know you have a fresh cup of coffee right in front of you. Easy-peasy.

Before going any further, I’d like to thank this Keurig for all that it has given me. So thank you Keurig, you rock.

Now, Ill let you in on a little secret…. In all of my eighteen years of existence I have never ever EVER enjoyed coffee. Not even the tiniest bit. I found it disgusting really, a smelly drink with a funky after taste would be a better name for it.

Well folks, the times have turned. I officially am a coffee drinker- even saying that makes me feel like a sophisticated sassy adult. Although it’s more of a force of nature, I really am beginning to fall for this wonderful drink.

I would definitely not describe coffee as a “love-at-first-sip” type of drink; it took a while for me to over look its bitter taste and really enjoy it for what it is. After experimenting with different amounts of sugar and milk, I began to actually enjoy this worldwide famous drink.

So it’s official-

This steamy cup of joy has gained a little spot in my heart. Yup you heard it right, coffee and me are now a thing

…. And if it’s anything like the relationship I have with Raisin Bran, it should be absolutely magnificent.
