Valentines Day Festivities

Valentines Day Festivities- sincerelykenz

Rob and I opted to not do anything too crazy for Valentine’s Day this year. To be honest, we figured that it really wasn’t that special of a holiday. After all, it’s not like it’s one of our birthdays or our anniversary or that kind of thing. Because the holiday isn’t all that important to us (and because we’re both broke college students) we decided to not make that big of a deal out of it.

The town of Oneonta (we go to school at SUNY Oneonta) had an overall temperature of negative ten degrees yesterday, we didn’t exactly want to go on any spontaneous adventures.

We kept things simple and spent our day doing some homework, eating  chocolate and of course,  shoveling endless heaps of Chinese food in our faces. The Chinese food up at school is nothing compared to that of what we usually get at home, but it’s still a lot better than any dining hall food you can get around campus.

I am so lucky to have my best friend up at school by my side every day. Although we didn’t do anything over the top for Valentine’s Day, I am feeling very thankful that I had my guy to spend the day with.

Did you do anything fun for Valentine’s Day this year?
