Beware, it’s finals week again. #movingintothelibrary. No but really, finals week is the time to study your hardest and try your best to end the semester on a high note. This is your last chance to show your professors what you got! Here are a few tips and tricks to get through finals week like a champ:
- ACTUALLY STUDY:
It’s easy to let the stress of finals take up more of your time than the studying that you need to do for your finals. Make a list of everything you have to do and get it done! Make a plan of what you need to study on what days and stick to it. Find a quiet place where you aren’t distracted and look over your notes, take practice quizzes, etc.
- BE HEALTHY:
While ordering a pizza every night of finals week may be ideal, it’s important to remember that your health is just as important as the grades that you are trying to get! Hit the gym to relieve some stress and eat those veggies.
- REMEMBER WHY YOU ARE IN SCHOOL:
Debating whether or not you should study or head out for a night on the town? Be sure to remember that you are at school to get an education, not to slack off with your friends. After all, flunking on all of your finals would be a huge waste of money and time.
- BELIEVE IN YOURSELF:
Telling yourself that you are going to fail your test over and over again is show in the grade that you receive. Think positive and tell yourself that you are going to do great. Be confident, because you are awesome and you are going to do fabulous.
- LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE:
Okay, so you think that your head is going to explode from all of the studying that you are doing right now, but at least you will be home soon! Most colleges have a long break after finals week so get excited for that! Cram now and then you will have a whole month to lounge and not think about schoolwork.
